Awesome little action cam. Specification wise its already better than the Hero 4 Black. Video and picture quality is top notch.Unlike my GoPro I actually enjoy using this camera a lot more due to the touchscreen aspect.Build wise I would say the camera is very nice. Has a nice sturdiness to it. Quality looks nice in both video and pics. Plenty of simple to understand and adjust menus for each. Startup and shutdown are very quick so you can get right to business and it navigates through modes and menus smoothly.Plenty of modes although I mainly stick with video and pics on occasion.

Much better than GoPro hero4, much better specs and significantly cheaper.I am surprised how good the picture and video quality looks. I love the fact that i can synchronize my iphone (with Yi App for free) with the camera. I love this action camera for the price and features. 4K has excellent clarity even in low ambient/indoor lighting. I am not talking dim and murky levels here, but add in just a single desk lamp with good dispersion, and there isn't any pixel noise. Have to switch over to 1080p to use the "Low Light" compensation for dim & murky lighting. Audio rate is 128kbps in 2 Channel Stereo @ 48KHz. Great cam.

It has all the resolutions I need. Everything above 2.5k is at 30fps. 2k can go up to 60fps. 1080@30/60/120 and 720 up to 240. Also it has different features for recording like video+photo, slow motion, timelapse.Touchscreen and UI are easy to use. Wifi works great. I can use my phone to control and do all the settings without touching the camera.Battery is good. I have recorded about an hour and it still has 50%ish.Low light performance is by far better than a GoPros.Overall,a wonderful action camera.I really love it.

First Yi camera was very good, this one is Excellent. Everything is improved. Video - Flawless, no focus issues. Sound - Clear, not muffled. Battery Life - Outstanding, I get 2 hours and 15 minutes at 1080p 30fps - no more backpack batteries! Controls - Touchscreen is crystal clear, and responsive with a slick and easy to use GUI. Built-in Mounting Screw - Still has it and GoPro doesn't. Still has lens distortion adjustment to get rid of curved edges in videos.

Touch screen, super compact, amazing quality even in the dark, gave as a gift and all our friends love it! I have to say, I am very impressed! This action camera's video quality and features are way beyond what I expected for the price.Great camera with 4k potential in general. One of my favorite features is the setting that lets you long press to change between photos and video, with an even longer press for turning the camera. You will likely need to use this feature when using the camera in the waterproof housing.I really like this camera, I keep it on all the time. It lets you use the camera without thinking if you do some planning in the settings before you start recording/shooting.

I found it super easy to load the battery, memory and power up. It comes with image stabilization built in. It really helps keep your shots looking decent.The screen on this kills my Hero 4 Silver. Very sharp and vibrant! Crystal Clear. Responsive.Camera offers both Bluetooth and WiFi. I did test Bluetooth remotes with it and it worked excellent. Works on both 2.4 and 5ghz network's. My phone is able to do 5ghz so that means very good WiFi connectivity. Video is almost flawless looking at it via the App.This camera also offers excellent sound quality

The box is minimalist in design, with a small logo and title on the front and a large picture of the camera. I've tested some outdoor videos and take photos. it was superb. The camera feels well made and the battery is noticeably larger than my hero 4 black edition. The touch screen is very easy to use and very responsive and controls, in general, are easier to use than a hero 4. The boot time on the Yi 4k action cam is less than 2 seconds which is also much much faster than the Hero 4 black edition. I've also tested out the image stabilization at 1080p, and it is very impressive. Handling shake almost completely disappears.
