When I got it, I opened the box, fit the lens, then mounted it on my cam, and voila! A perfect fit! Aside from that, the manual focus from the camera works like a charm, and you can use the MF assist too.Now i can use all my nikkor lnses on the Nex 5 without any problem in focus , every thing must be in manual mode though. Overall, great construction, tight and clean, it doesnt attract dust inside, and lens attaches strongly, its even hard to remove the lense but it ensures tight secure lens.

The build quality of the adapter is better than I expected and should hold up pretty well. It also looks great on the camera. It is simple, easy, and works. It was a little fiddly to attach the first couple of times but surprisingly fast and easy all times after that--there is definitely a knack to it. The lenses fit good to the adapter, and the adapter fits very good to the camera. Also, the aperture ring control works good, it is a bit short, but works fine.

I purchased this adapter for use with my Sony Nex-5 with legacy Minolta SR-Mount (Rokkor/MC/MD) lenses. All of my lenses achieve both proper infinity focus and correct minimum focus distance. There are no apparent light leaks, and the images are superior in quality. Works like a charm! The adapter has clear red dots on both sides for easy alignment, and is well made and easy to use.Works great, clicks on and off with ease... Great value at this price.

The adapter works great for me & I completely love it. It allows me to mount Canon EF lenses to my Sony Nex-5 camera, which is exactly what I wanted it for. Just go to manual mode, allow the camera to shoot without having lens information, and presto! It works fantastically well. Once you got that done, it is cool, the manual-focus is tricky and you must set the aperture on a canon body BEFORE you use this mount. If you can deal with that then you got an extra camera to shoot with your canon lenses. Now I can go do some vintage lens shopping soon.
